Why did you start to do music?
I come from a family that loves playing music at all hours around the clock. Throwing parties in the backyard and having cookouts was like a religion in my house growing up. Music was always being played inside my mother and father’s car. Because of them, I was introduced to a lot of genres which gave me a more versatile approach.
When did you know that it was actually going to be your career?
I began Battle Rapping when I was 12 years at school and freestyling at house parties. Once I realized how much passion I had for it I became dedicated. I always knew there were other people out there who could relate to me and my lifestyle.
If you could get advice from any artist in the industry, who would it be and why?
Snoop Dogg, Ice Cube, Dr. Dre, Jay-Z and P-Diddy to name a few. They have consistently stayed relevant and successful within the culture.
What or who influences your music?
Brotha Lynch Hung influenced me as an adolescent. As I became older, Nipsey Hussle (RIP) was someone from my generation who I felt shared a lot in common with me.
Has anyone helped you or guided you in getting your foot in the industry?
